Hi Folks,

Es handelt sich um die Weiterentwicklung des Unity Socket Server. Hiermit lassen sich Multiuser Anwendungen umsetzen bzw. realisieren. Die ersten Anwendungen sind bereits auf der Site geschaltet.

Features:

a new XML-based protocol--Unity Procedure Call (UPC)--for invoking methods remotely on the client or server
a new core room type, UPCRoom, with many new built-in services
client-side creation of rooms
namespaces to contain rooms
shared room attributes (for storing and transmitting information such as a game's high score or a chat room's welcome message)
shared client attributes (for storing and transmitting data such as a client's name, location, score, etc)
automated client-list notification (clients can subscribe to be notified when other clients join or leave the room)
client-to-client method invocation (e.g., for private messaging)
client-to-room method invocation (e.g., a chat message to all clients in a room)
client-to-namespace method invocation (e.g., an admin message to all players in all games in a namespace)
a brand new object-oriented, event-based ActionScript API for developing Unity applications.
