Hmm okee ich hab den Flashgateway aus der 30 day Trial - die ist ja limitiert auf eine IP, und Remoting läuft auf ner anderen Kiste als Flash...liegt das daran?

Wir können uns zum entwicklen schlecht 3 Vollversionen kaufen (3 Entwickler)..gibbet da einen "Workaround" ?

Ach ja und Macromedia geht mir langsam aufn Sack.....Europ. Remoting ist 400 € teurer als die US....und JRun ist mal einfach so 700 € teurer geworden...

Ich kenne die Fehlermeldung auch und bin schon ganz verzweifelt. Vor allen Dingen, weil wir gerade die neue Version von Flash 04 pro gekauft haben, in der eigentlich Remoting mit enthalten sein sollte. Demnach dürfte es also keine 'Entwickleredition', sondern schon eine Vollversion sein!!!!!

Wieso klappt das nicht???

Weiß vielleicht jemand, wie man das blöde Remoting freischalten kann? Bzw. wo in der Registry dieser Quatsch mit der Entwickler-Version abgelegt ist?

Also ...

falls noch jemand dieses Problem hat, könnte ich hier meine Erfahrung mitteilen, die ich mittlerweile gemacht habe:

Flash Remoting ist grundsätzlich in 2 Teilen zu sehen. Zum einen die Komponenten, die die IDE erweitern, und für Flash 7 (ich weiß nicht was mit Flash 6 ist) for free sind.

Zum anderen die Server-Komponente, die wahlweise schon in einem Makromedia-Server (z.B. Coldfusion) installiert ist, oder aus einem Java -jar oder -war oder -ear besteht, das man in den eigenen Webserver deployen muß.
Wenn man nun die Variante mit dem eigenen Webserver benutzt, muß man das licence file für Remoting (frconfig.txt) mit in das WEB-INF-Verzeichnis legen. In diesem File steht entweder Deine Lizenz-Nummer, durch die die Freigabe erwirkt wird oder man kann eine IP-Adresse eintragen für die der Zugriff freigeben wird, so daß der Zugriff doch wenigstens von einem anderen Rechner funktioniert.

Für diese Info habe ich auch lange gesucht, aber jetzt gehts wieder fröhlich voran ...
