Beta Testing - JSAPI FileSystem Extension

Hi Folks,

Guy Watson experimentiert seit einigen Tagen an einer JSAPI FileSystem Extension.

Features:

FileSystem.version() Returns the version number of the FileSystem object.
FileSystem.getFileSize() Retrieves the filesize of the specified file, in bytes.
FileSystem.createFolder() - Creates a folder at the specified location.
FileSystem.folderExists() - Determines the existence of the specified folder.
FileSystem.renameFile() - Renames the specified file.
FileSystem.renameFolder() - Renames the specified folder.
FileSystem.copyFile() - Copies the specified file to the specified location.
FileSystem.deleteFile() - Deletes the specified file.
FileSystem.deleteFolder() - Deletes the specified folder.
FileSystem.saveTextFile() - Creates a textfile at the specified location.
FileSystem.readTextFile() - Reads the contents of the specified file.

als MACler bin ich zum glück (noch) nicht betroffen:

FileSystem.deleteFile()

da habe ich schon die ganze zeit drauf gewartet! ist also damit zu rechnen, das man in zukunft kein flash mehr benutzen kann, weil die gefahr besteht das jeder werbebanner mit gleichzeitig meine platte putzen kann?

@hgseib: Bitte - denk daran wir sind in der Rubrik Flash API. Diese Erweiterungen bet. nicht die SWF-Dateien sondern lediglich die Flash Entwicklungsumgebung! Und ein Entwickler der sein eigenes System damit löscht bekommt dies auch mit format c: hin.
