Apart from that, the original problem has recently been solved and thereby the subject is exhausted. Get rid of that lousy Kaspersky-Bugware and those 'problems with the Flash uploader' you mentioned are no more as if they had never been there.

If I turn off the Anti Virus software (Kasparsky on Windows Vista), the progress reported by bytesLoaded is correct.

If I turn off Kaspersky completely the file upload works smoothly. If I add a domain name wildcard to the trusted zones the problem remains. Has anybody found a solution how I can work with Flex/Flash-based file uploads without the need to shut down KIS completely?

Hi,
this is only a problem (I think it is a bug) from Kaspersky in the actual and also der previews versions. Probably you will find no solution to solve this issue.
