The fourth edition of Flashtival 2004, the largest Flash and Webdesign conference of
the Benelux takes place on Monday 27th September. The program focuses on the
international character of the conference and a number of the most well-known Flash
professionals from all over the world will be present.
Flashtival 2004 takes place at Congress Centre De Doelen in Rotterdam, Holland.
Flashtival 2004 will be an informative and educational event, completely related to
Macromedia Flash, webdesign and Rich Internet Application development.
FlashFocus wants to reach professional and semi-professional Flash users, as well as
other interested people like programmers, designers, animators, art directors, film
and video producers and Multimedia Design students. By offering all visitors a
diversity of presentations at all levels Flashtival is interesting for any person
who wants to reach a new level in Flash development, and also for those who want to
interact with industry experts.
The Flashtival 2004 program is divided into 3 concurrent tracks, which are:
‘development’, ‘animation and design’, and ‘general Flash related topics’. This way,
every visitor will be able to attend a masterclass at his own level and choose the
subject of his personal interest.
At the Flashtival website, http://www.flashtival.nl, you find a complete list of all
speakers, with a short biography and a link to their websites, but we will already
reveal some information:

Also, a special masterclass will be offered, in which visitors learn how to make
websites accessible for (visually) handicapped people. In cooperation with Drempels
Weg, the Accessibility Foundation is researching how to make Flash and other
websites accessible for people with functional limitations.
A contest is linked to the research. Eric Velleman, manager of the Accessibility
Foundation and also author of the book ‘Site Seeing’, will demonstrate equipment
developed for people with visual disabilities. For example, visitors can experience
the way blind people use the internet.
Alongside the masterclasses, there will also be a small-scale fair with various
stands in the foyer of the complex. Here, visitors will get the chance to buy books,
and receive all kinds of information about Flash and internet related products and
Tickets are available at www.flashtival.nl
We would like to welcome you at Flashtival 2004!!!
